2012 Lodging Information
College of Idaho campus in Caldwell, ID
Housing is available at the College of Idaho campus. This is for "dormitory-style" housing with 1 or 2 beds to a room, common shower and lavatory facilities, etc. There is a common kitchen facility available; stove, oven, and refrigerator. However, there are no cooking dishes, dishcloths, or utensils, so you will need to bring your own if you plan on preparing meals in the kitchen.
If you require housing, you will need to purchase it through the online registration system when you register. Housing will be $20/person/night. You will pay for all the people in your party, at registration. If you plan on rooming with others that are not registering with you, you will need to coordinate with them. Most rooms are up to two people, but can accommodate three where needed
Check-in for housing will be 3:00-5:00 on Sunday the 24th with check-out Friday the 29th at noon or Saturday the 30th 7:00am.
*Book 1 Teacher Trainees planning to arrive before the 24th should contact Connie Hadlock for some housing options for the weekend.
Please note that NO LINENS will be included. You need to bring your own bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, sheets, pillow, pillowcase, & blanket.
Meals Information
Lunch will be available students and families participating in Institute. The cost is $7.75 per lunch, per person; $31 total for lunch Tuesday-Friday and should be purchased when you register. No lunch will be served on Monday, as Institute begins at 1:00pm for full day students. We strongly encourage participants to pre-register for meals on campus. Food will be prepared by this head count and meal tickets will be provided to all pre-registered guests. There will be a limited number of walk-up meals available, based upon the pre-registered head count, but no guarantee and on a first come first serve (after ticketed meals have been served). You may not enter the cafeteria without a meal ticket.
We are also offering breakfast and dinner packages under the same parameters as lunch. Cost for breakfast is $7.50/meal for a total of $30 (Tuesday – Friday) and Dinner is $10/meal for $30 (Tuesday-Thursday).
