Non-Suzuki Students
Enrichment Only Program
This is a great opportunity for traditionally trained musicians, siblings, and even parents to participate in Institute! Descriptions of available classes can be found on the Enrichment page. Each class is $40 per student, per class.
Each participant should read the description on the Enrichment(s) being chosen and be comfortable with any requirements listed. If you have questions about any of them, feel free to send an e-mail to info@idahosuzuki.org and we will help you out.
Tuition Includes: Only registration for each individual class. Due to our online system, you will be asked for your t-shirt size, but “Enrichment Only” students will not receive a t-shirt unless they order one. Additional items available for purchase include: housing and lunch, additional enrichment classes, t-shirts, donations, personal fan.
Schedule
Monday: Sign-In begins at 12:00pm. At this time you will receive your schedule and all the information you will need to have an AWESOME week at Institute. Orientation begins at 1:00pm in the sanctuary. ALL students and parents should attend this meeting. You will find out your enrichment schedule at this time. If you register for more than one and are not attending Institute with other family members, we will attempt to block your choices together so that classes are back-to-back. However, we can not guarantee that.
Tuesday-Thursday: Students have classes from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We will break for lunch and recitals will be held after lunch. More classes are held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday: Students have classes from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. After lunch, the afternoon the final concerts will be held - times to be announced. We do have an Enrichment Recital and you are welcome to participate if applicable.
NOTE: Proper dress is required at all concerts, string students wear black pants or skirts (knee length or longer) and white tops (no sleeveless, please) with black shoes and socks. Piano and flute: female students perform in all black, male students wear a white shirt and tie with black pants, socks and shoes.
